FIRST IMPRESSION

If you think this is a story about me dating LLM, you’re wrong. I don’t even date in real life, so why would I date LLM? 😭

This post is about my brainstorming with LLMs and the models I use.

The first LLM I used was ChatGPT, as far as I can remember, in 2023. At that time, I learned about ChatGPT because of a meme on facebook.

I didn’t know what kind of app that was, but the meme was funny. I didn’t even bother to search and just went back into my life, until another meme came.

I thought, ‘What the heck is this?’ I searched for the app and downloaded it. When I tried it, I found it quite interesting. Although the responses were still robotic, they weren’t like typical chatbots that respond with templates.

At that time, ChatGPT responded very quickly and the answers were also relevant to my questions. I knew nothing about machine learning or LLMs and wondered if a human could possibly answer. But what kind of human could provide such a lengthy and coherent response in a matter of seconds? Even if there were a superhuman, wouldn’t they need sleep and be able to answer so many users 24/7? So, I concluded it was more plausible that this was a robot, but with new technology.

At the end of 2023, I started chatting with ChatGPT to discuss my business plans.

From September to December 2023, ChatGPT and I brainstormed for my culinary business platform, producing a long-term plan consisting of five phases. I would ask whether my plan can be realized, whether investors will want to invest in my business, whether this plan makes sense, etc. I created the website and ran digital marketing, advertising, and other activities, but this business needed funding.

By the way, if you read my post “My Off-again, On-again Relationship with Fiction Books,” I mentioned a big dream. My culinary business is the plan I made to make that dream a reality. It’s a dream so big it might make people say, “You’re too delusional to think something like that can happen.” Haha… (Spoiler: The ultimate goal is to build over 5,000, high quality free schools. Crazy, right?)

If you’re interested, I created a website about it, complete with phases and project files. You can check it out here. However, I only created project files for the first phase. I figured, after the first phase was successful, I’d start the subsequent phases. Although each phase can have different investors, it’s certainly easier to get investors if the first phase is successful. Am I right?

I didn’t want to go around looking for funds, so I decided to find a way to raise my own funds.

In early 2024, I started thinking about how to generate substantial income without significant capital, specifically to fund my business platform. But of course, I didn’t want to use black hat methods, so I started looking for white hat methods.

I started to find out about how to publish a novel online, what platforms are available and of course how much I could earn.

In January 2024, I tried Copilot and started brainstorming about my fantasy story. At that time, my story didn’t have a solid structure, I was just deciding on a name and an outline. However, I hadn’t fully decided to return to writing fiction.

At the time, I thought publishing a story would take time. Can I survive? I wanted to publish under a pen name, and for a new writer, it’s not guaranteed to go viral right away, right? Besides, I’d have to write the story first, and that would take quite a while. So I allowed myself to explore other white hat avenues that were faster and better than fiction.

At the end of 2024, it turns out I survived, so I decided to pursue fiction, even though it would take time, I will survive anyway.
